Founded by Dr. Brian Den Beste in 1996, it was one of the first LASIK centers in the United States. "I went to Lasik Pro because after 15 years since having PRK surgery my eyes were not able to see close or far anymore. Dr. Den Beste and his son Dr. Kyle den Beste know what they are doing. And they have been doing this for a long time. Since my corneas were too thin I was only eligible for a clear lens extraction procedure, similar to cataract surgery. I am 44 years old so I was a bit anxious about having this surgery. Dr. Kyle Den Beste did a monovision procedure where one lens is corrected to see far and the other is treated for read. My right eye was done first for distance and has healed well. My left eye was done a few weeks ago and is taking a bit longer to heal but I was told this ahead of time. So far no pain and Dr. Den Beste is with me all the way. He explains everything and is honest about the radical results to expect. However. Understand that this type of surgery is not perfect but I am happy with my results thus far."
