Refractive Lens Exchange is a procedure to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. The lens of the eye is removed and replaced by a lens, which corrects the prescription in your glasses.

 

Individuals over age of 45 are good candidates for this procedure. It is an outpatient procedure and is performed one eye at a time to ensure accuracy and safety for the patient.
